Project Gambita - Montecito foundation
La Hondura Canyon (Santander) is a breathtaking nature spot located at ~1.800 m high in the Eastern Andes of Colombia.
The land is managed by nonprofit Fundación Montecito, and they are working towards a designation of this area as a Civil Society Nature Reserve, to carry a further environmental culture development involving the local community, also to have bird tourism and other ecological options as a self-sustainable activity able to improve conservation and local economy in the years to come.
